The Momosa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Jejui AD - U23's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Sampaio came free, but Valdir Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roger Sampaio in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdir Leite saved Jejui AD - U23 from getting behind. Roberto Dracena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but José Augusto Dantas made a huge save. Fabrício Tróia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valdir Leite came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Momosa's Roger Sampaio. But to his dismay, Roger Sampaio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 32nd minute, Jefferson Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roberto Dracena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Augusto Dantas having to make a save. After the first half Momosa were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Jefferson Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Roger Sampaio's late challenge caught a Jejui AD - U23's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roger Sampaio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Momosa's Roger Sampaio got a free kick in the 56th minute. Valdir Leite made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Fabrício Tróia sent off a good shot on target. If Roger Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdir Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Sampaio in the 70th minute of play. Roberto Dracena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amauri Proença hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute Roberto Dracena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Augusto Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Augusto Dantas having to interfere. José Augusto Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Maia in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute Orlando Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Augusto Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Momosa getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Róbson Eger hit a great ball. José Augusto Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Maia in the 86th minute of the match. José Augusto Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Maia in the 89th minute of play. Jefferson Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. José Augusto Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Momosa's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
