Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Costela FC's Fausto Queiroz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Costela FC's Tomás Bastos got a free kick in the 6th minute. Horácio Linhares took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alexandre Porto. Costela FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costela FC's goalkeeper Alexandre Porto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 14 minutes into the game, one of Rua do Coco:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tomás Bastos placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Santos during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Costela FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Pedro Santos hit a great ball. If Ezequiel Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Virgílio Cabral took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Alexandre Porto to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Costela FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Duarte Toscano hit a great ball. Alexandre Porto acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 27th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Horácio Linhares. In the 33rd minute Humberto Paraíba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachariasz Budzynski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th match minute, Rua do Coco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizinho Veloso to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Fausto Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costela FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fausto Queiroz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zachariasz Budzynski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Rua do Coco's zone, Fausto Queiroz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zachariasz Budzynski came out of the goal and Fausto Queiroz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vito de Godoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45thth minute of the game Virgílio Cabral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costela FC's Alexandre Porto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fausto Queiroz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Virgílio Cabral made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Virgílio Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hortêncio da Fonseca charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hortêncio da Fonseca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fausto Queiroz in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zachariasz Budzynski saved Rua do Coco from getting behind. Virgílio Cabral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexandre Porto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st match minute, Rua do Coco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hortêncio da Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 64 minutes, Ezequiel Guimarães managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rua do Coco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ezequiel Guimarães was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ezequiel Guimarães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Porto having to interfere. Alexandre Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgílio Cabral in the 69th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Ezequiel Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76thth minute of the game Virgílio Cabral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costela FC's Alexandre Porto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alexandre Porto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Virgílio Cabral's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Alexandre Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Guimarães in the 82nd minute of play. After 82 played minutes Costela FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Santos. Alexandre Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgílio Cabral in the 83rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rua do Coco's Marco Neves got a free kick in the 88th minute. Virgílio Cabral struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Alexandre Porto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rua do Coco. Ezequiel Guimarães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Porto having to interfere. In the 95th minute Virgílio Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rua do Coco fans cheered their team off the field, for while Costela FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
