Abel Macedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Tasso might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcelo Salgado. Jailson Loyola was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 18th minute. Moicanos Fc's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Tasso in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo Salgado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 23 minutes into the match, Zé Roberto de Almeida had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelo Salgado. Moicanos Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zé Roberto de Almeida was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zé Roberto de Almeida in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo Salgado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guaranesia's Guto Meira couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 29th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Moicanos Fc. After a defensive mix-up in Guaranesia's zone, Jailson Loyola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Barral came out of the goal and Jailson Loyola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 38 minutes into the match, Joel Tasso notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Moicanos Fc's Marcelo Salgado. Marcelo Salgado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Moicanos Fc defense, Zé Roberto de Almeida kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Salgado. The Moicanos Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Salgado should have stopped the shot. After the first half Guaranesia were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zé Roberto de Almeida stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Zé Roberto de Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zé Roberto de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Salgado having to interfere. In the 57th match minute, Moicanos Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Macedo to maneuver through the defense. Guaranesia's Jonas Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mazinho Alcântara in the 62nd minute of play. Joel Tasso who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Marcelo Salgado when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 68 minutes into the match, Moicanos Fc's goalkeeper Marcelo Salgado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joel Tasso. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Joel Tasso sped through Moicanos Fc's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcelo Salgado. 74 minutes into the match, Guaranesia's Joel Tasso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelo Salgado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After recieving a nice pass, Moicanos Fc's Tiaguinho Bueno tried to score from far away in the 78th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Mazinho Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Jonas Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jailson Loyola in the 84th minute of play forced Guaranesia's goalkeeper Jonas Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Zé Roberto de Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guaranesia's supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Roberto de Almeida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Salgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 91 minutes into the match, Mazinho Alcântara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonas Barral. Guaranesia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mazinho Alcântara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Jonas Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mazinho Alcântara in the 94th minute of play. The Moicanos Fc supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Guaranesia's performance. The match ended with a win for Guaranesia.
