S.I.F.S.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Giuseppe Marquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeferson Tinoco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jeferson Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, S.I.F.S.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cauã Dracena came free, but Olívio Hoffmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeferson Tinoco made a kick off. Diogo Galvão who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Vítor Urbano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeferson Tinoco in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vítor Urbano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aílton Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olívio Hoffmann having to interfere. Cauã Dracena might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olívio Hoffmann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cauã Dracena ran back to his position shaking his head. Vítor Urbano was a little too slow when Jeferson Tinoco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 0-1. 68 minutes into the match, S.I.F.S.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cauã Dracena came free, but Olívio Hoffmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
