Andrézinho do Vale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Caco Pinho in the 7th minute. With a little luck, SC Corinthians's Andrézinho do Vale got control of the ball when Caco Pinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Andrézinho do Vale made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Caco Pinho sent off a good shot on target. SC Corinthians's Andrézinho do Vale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save SC Corinthians from getting a goal against them. Diogo Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Gilvan Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gugu Duarte in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Igarape FC's Vitinho Dias got a free kick in the 17th minute. Andrézinho do Vale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Caco Pinho in the 20th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Ramalho in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrézinho do Vale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Caco Pinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Andrézinho do Vale made a huge save. If Diogo Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caco Pinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Andrézinho do Vale made a huge save. Vitinho Dias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vitinho Dias might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andrézinho do Vale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vitinho Dias ran back to his position shaking his head. 47 minutes into the match, Vitinho Dias notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of SC Corinthians's Andrézinho do Vale. Andrézinho do Vale was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulo Ramalho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Gugu Duarte reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gilvan Andrade. The goal made the score 3-1. Andrézinho do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diogo Miranda in the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Caco Pinho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Igarape FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. In the 62nd match minute, SC Corinthians was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldo Simões to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, Paulo Ramalho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andrézinho do Vale was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. After having played for 70 minutes, Paulo Ramalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Igarape FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Ramalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute, Vitinho Dias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andrézinho do Vale was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Caco Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, Giovanni Aguiar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gilvan Andrade, 6-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitinho Dias in the 84th minute of play forced SC Corinthians's goalkeeper Andrézinho do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diogo Miranda in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. The supporters of Igarape FC booed when SC Corinthians was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Xavier didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute Igarape FC were awarded a corner. Zé Augusto Quirino went to the cornerflag to take it. Hermínio de Senna was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Ramón Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Igarape FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramón Paiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrézinho do Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
