In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cañada's goalkeeper Domingo Ipar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Domingo Ipar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Kaiet, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cañada's zone, Oscar Kaiet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingo Ipar came out of the goal and Oscar Kaiet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Emilio Galindo came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Cienaguita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Galindo couldn't finish the play. Oscar Kaiet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cañada's Isidro Pirro got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Oscar Kaiet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Domingo Ipar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to Cienaguita getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Emilio Galindo hit a great ball. After 25 played minutes Cañada got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Suero. If Oscar Kaiet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobias Hats kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Cienaguita's Vladimiro Galoer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Pirro in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Cañada's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Kaiet came free, but Domingo Ipar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emilio Galindo took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Domingo Ipar. Domingo Ipar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Oscar Kaiet made the kick off in the second half. Isidro Pirro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Vladimiro Galoer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute of the match Isidoro Rioja shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vladimiro Galoer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Domingo Ipar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Kaiet, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 59thth minute of the game Oscar Kaiet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cañada's Domingo Ipar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Oscar Kaiet sped through Cañada's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Domingo Ipar. Joaquin Chuan's late challenge caught a Cañada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquin Chuan helped the player get up and apologised. After 71 played minutes Cienaguita got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Chuan. 73 minutes into the match, Oscar Kaiet dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Domingo Ipar, 0-5. Cienaguita's Victorio Lertxun got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, Oscar Kaiet notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Cañada's Domingo Ipar. Domingo Ipar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Victorio Lertxun received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Domingo Ipar came out and tried to block the shot, but Victorio Lertxun slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 83rd minute. If Gaspar Mark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Cañada booed when Cienaguita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amador Pudes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Oscar Kaiet reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Domingo Ipar. The goal made the score 1-8. The Cañada fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cienaguita were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
