Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Diamantino Bessa took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cristiano Viegas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for André Soares. Toural's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustavo Castro got free with André Soares in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diamantino Bessa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toural's André Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diamantino Bessa in the 15th minute of play. inter fc's Diamantino Bessa got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gustavo Castro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but André Soares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rdth minute of the game Simão Aguiar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but inter fc's Zeferino Noronha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Toural booed when inter fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Benevides didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 33 minutes, Simão Aguiar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Toural and the inter fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Toural getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Simão Aguiar hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Toural's Hélder Cruz got a free kick in the 35th minute. The supporters of inter fc booed when Toural was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simão Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cristóvão Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristóvão Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeferino Noronha having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Simão Aguiar to make the kick off. Hamilton Pimentel was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 52 minutes into the match. In the 52nd minute, one of inter fc:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for inter fc. Lúcio Valentim hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Zeferino Noronha came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Toural's Cristóvão Silva. But to his dismay, Cristóvão Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When Lúcio Valentim fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored inter fc's protests and gave Lúcio Valentim a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to inter fc getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Lúcio Valentim hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão Aguiar in the 66th minute of play forced inter fc's goalkeeper Zeferino Noronha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nélson Garcez hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Cristóvão Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Zeferino Noronha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeferino Noronha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristóvão Silva went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. When Gustavo Castro came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the inter fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Castro couldn't finish the play. inter fc's Jaime Caires got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, inter fc's Zeferino Noronha got control of the ball when Cristóvão Silva tried to sneak it across the goal line. Afonso Viana charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Afonso Viana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th minute, one of Toural:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Toural. André Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in inter fc's zone, Simão Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeferino Noronha came out of the goal and Simão Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 100th minute, Gustavo Castro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. André Soares was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3.
