Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ionel Stoica took the kick off in the first half of the match. 10 minutes into the game, Aristide Mâinea lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Eric Oanță. Moise Gârneață took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionel Stoica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Horea Ungheanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21 minutes, Ionel Stoica made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Petnic FC's Moise Gârneață tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Mugur Popa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eric Oanță made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Mugur Popa sent off a good shot on target. Aristide Mâinea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Eric Oanță tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mugur Popa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Oanță having to interfere. Ion Vâtcă hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Jeselnica's Octav Minculescu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Octav Minculescu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Jeselnica protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Octav Minculescu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The goalkeeper, Eric Oanță, was totally fooled by Petnic FC's Horea Ungheanu, who 46 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aristide Mâinea to strike the kick off in the second half. When Horaţiu Burtescu came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Jeselnica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horaţiu Burtescu couldn't finish the play. Moise Gârneață made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Horaţiu Burtescu sent off a good shot on target. Sergiu Cristea hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Horea Ungheanu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 72nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Sandu Popa kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After having played for 75 minutes, Mugur Popa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Petnic FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mugur Popa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Horaţiu Burtescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eric Oanță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristide Mâinea, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. A collision led to Jeselnica getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Ion Vâtcă hit a great ball. If Mugur Popa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 89th minute Valentin Unciuleanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Oanță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eric Oanță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristide Mâinea in the 92nd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Mugur Popa notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Jeselnica's Eric Oanță. Eric Oanță was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Jeselnica players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Petnic FC.
