In the 5th minute, Mihaliccik's Baran İley dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Ataol Revan kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Mihaliccik's goal looked a bit too open when Fedai Şendoğan came free, but Bektaş Veli Bozyiğit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fedai Şendoğan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bektaş Veli Bozyiğit read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. A collision led to Mihaliccik getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Ataol Revan hit a great ball. ULUTEPE SPOR's Zekai Sökmensu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ataol Revan in the 22nd minute of play. If Abdülhak Şenbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, ULUTEPE SPOR's Asrın Muzaffer got a free kick in the 26th minute. Abdurrahman Tanaltan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 27th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdülhak Şenbay got free with Zekai Sökmensu in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fedai Şendoğan in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bektaş Veli Bozyiğit saved Mihaliccik from getting behind. Fedai Şendoğan might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bektaş Veli Bozyiğit. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fedai Şendoğan ran back to his position shaking his head.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fedai Şendoğan to make the kick off. The supporters of ULUTEPE SPOR booed when Mihaliccik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sufi Demiroğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Göktan Başoğlu's late challenge caught a Mihaliccik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Göktan Başoğlu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to ULUTEPE SPOR getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Göktan Başoğlu hit a great ball. Zekai Sökmensu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baran İley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ULUTEPE SPOR's Zekai Sökmensu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdülhak Şenbay in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Abdülhak Şenbay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mihaliccik fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 76 minutes into the match, ULUTEPE SPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Tümer Erdönmez came free, but Zekai Sökmensu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fedai Şendoğan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Bektaş Veli Bozyiğit made a huge save. Zekai Sökmensu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baran İley, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 87th match minute, ULUTEPE SPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göktan Başoğlu to maneuver through the defense. Zekai Sökmensu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ataol Revan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
