Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joe Tate started the match with the kick off. LOI's Özgür Özbay got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. George Buturugã took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joe Tate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmond Verdun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özgür Özbay in the 12th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Errecaborda AFC's Pastor Ado got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 27th minute of the match LOI got a corner. Errecaborda AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ahmet Hamdi Ortan ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Errecaborda AFC's Pastor Ado in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LOI's goalie prevented a goal. Errecaborda AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Ahmet Hamdi Ortan scored to the left of an out of position Edmond Verdun, making the score, 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sulo Montaña to make the kick off. Edmond Verdun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sulo Montaña in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute LOI were awarded a corner. Ahmet Hamdi Ortan went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Ahmet Hamdi Ortan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun did a great save. Joe Tate did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised George Buturugã 58 minutes into the match. Pastor Ado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but George Buturugã made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sulo Montaña in the 65th minute of play forced Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper Edmond Verdun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauro Rameriz hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. LOI's Tayyip Taylan was substituted for Hüseyin Cahit Gökdoğan. The audience thought a goal was coming when Prospero Jerardo got free with George Buturugã in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92nd minute Kerimhan Cevher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Verdun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. LOI's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
