Luís Gustavo Nunes succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 11th playminute. Abelardo Marquez hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Gustavo Nunes got free with Robin Apsden in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th match minute, Ferquim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Luiz Coutinho to maneuver through the defense. Luís Gustavo Nunes might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robin Apsden. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Gustavo Nunes ran back to his position shaking his head. Nuno Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Apsden having to interfere. Robin Apsden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Lopez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Luís Gustavo Nunes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gláuber Cunha in the 44th minute of play forced Ferquim's goalkeeper Eduardo Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Gustavo Nunes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Robin Apsden made a huge save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After having played for 53 minutes, Belchior Simão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Do ABC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Belchior Simão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robin Apsden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Gustavo Nunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Gustavo Nunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abelardo Marquez hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Robin Apsden didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Gustavo Nunes went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 86th minute, Gláuber Cunha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Do ABC's Robin Apsden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Gustavo Nunes in the 90th minute of play. If Nuno Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nuno Lopez came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Ferquim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuno Lopez couldn't finish the play. If Luisão Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferquim were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
