Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Orson Ryder during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Uxbridge FC's Conal Dowdall got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Conal Dowdall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Denzil Platt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 11 played minutes Uxbridge FC got a freekick which was hit by Garry Lawton. Patrick Bateson didn't quite understand what happened when in the 13 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. 14 minutes into the game, Lincoln's Damion Barnes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Shawn North made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Denzil Platt came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Uxbridge FC's Conal Dowdall. But to his dismay, Conal Dowdall quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Lincoln's Frank Jones got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Uxbridge FC's zone, Frankie Beasley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Shawn North came out of the goal and Frankie Beasley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute, Ian Doyle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Brynn Knight fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lincoln's protests and gave Brynn Knight a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 played minutes Lincoln got a freekick which was hit by Brynn Knight. Lennie Lawson hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Uxbridge FC's zone, Damion Barnes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Shawn North came out of the goal and Damion Barnes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Uxbridge FC's Shawn North proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Uxbridge FC from getting a goal against them. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frankie Beasley made a kick off. When Ian Doyle came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Uxbridge FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ian Doyle couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Uxbridge FC booed when Lincoln was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rex Cartwright didn't get a good kick on the ball. Conal Dowdall who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Denzil Platt when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Uxbridge FC's Shawn North played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damion Barnes in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th minute Rex Cartwright shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shawn North saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Lincoln getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Rex Cartwright hit a great ball. Conal Dowdall took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denzil Platt. Denzil Platt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 73rd minute Ian Doyle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denzil Platt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lincoln's Damion Barnes got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Damion Barnes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frankie Beasley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 96 minutes of play, Uxbridge FC's Conal Dowdall made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Denzil Platt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chants of Uxbridge FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Lincoln had held the ball for most of the match.
