Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jonas Thobejane kicked off to start the match. Lui Zubizarreta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hassan Kerns in the 3rd minute of play. U21 South Africa's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Oliver Kanku in the 5th minute. After 6 played minutes U21 South Africa got a freekick which was hit by Maseti Laher. In the 7th minute Juliusz Jule shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Meshack Serage saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Meshack Serage showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juliusz Julien in the 13th minute of the match. After 14 minutes, Rabah Al-Jazairia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U21 MZ Country and the U21 South Africa players grew even worse after the yellow card. U21 South Africa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johannes Bartlett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, U21 South Africa's Meshack Serage got control of the ball when Juliusz Jule tried to sneak it across the goal line. Meshack Serage made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juliusz Julien in the 72nd minute. Hassan Kerns sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juliusz Julien who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Meshack Serage when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 76 minutes, Maseti Laher mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U21 South Africa and the U21 MZ Country players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th minute, Maseti Laher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to U21 South Africa getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Jonas Thobejane hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juliusz Julien in the 84th minute of play forced U21 South Africa's goalkeeper Meshack Serage to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 85 played minutes U21 MZ Country got a freekick which was hit by Juliusz Jule. Meshack Serage made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juliusz Julien in the 88th minute of play. Meshack Serage made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Juliusz Julien sent off a good shot on target. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for U21 South Africa! When Maïssa El Ouafi fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U21 MZ Country's protests and gave Maïssa El Ouafi a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, U21 MZ Country's Maïssa El Ouafi got a free kick in the 96th minute. U21 MZ Country played a much better game than U21 South Africa and deserved their victory. The U21 South Africa players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
