Francisco Salamon hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Mexico made a substitution. Mariano Furtado replaced Jonas Cordarin. Turkey's Nando Muslera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Nikola in the 71st minute of play. Abel Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kamuran Orgun in the 73rd minute of play. Generoso Jayvier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Francisco Salamon in the 82nd minute. Abel Perez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Hakan Oktar in the 86th minute of the match. Turkey were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kamuran Orgun took the corner. Abel Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esen Irgatbaşı in the 89th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Turkey's goal looked a bit too open when Generoso Jayvier came free, but Nando Muslera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Salamon. The Mexico supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Turkey's performance. The match ended with a win for Turkey.
