U21 France's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U21 Sweden the free kick. A collision led to U21 France getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Blaise Bellet hit a great ball. The supporters of U21 France booed when U21 Sweden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Staffan Nykvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sony Anderson's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the match, Sony Anderson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Staffan Nykvist. U21 Sweden's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sony Anderson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Sten Lustig could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Hakim Rouyer made a huge save. In the 93rd match minute, U21 France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blaise Bellet to maneuver through the defense.
