In the 10th minute, Andy Eklund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Andy Eklund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vetevendosje FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Andy Eklund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonides Valentine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lavan Querubin got free with Eşref Tuney in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leonides Valentine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Beltrán in the 27th minute of the match. After 30 played minutes Vetevendosje FC got a freekick which was hit by Niklas Ekerot. Raimundo Castulo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Eşref Tuney made a huge save. Vetevendosje FC's Eşref Tuney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Ishmael in the 38th minute of play. In the 44th minute Andy Eklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Valentine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th match minute, Vetevendosje FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Finnman to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Leonides Valentine made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andy Eklund in the 71st minute. Hermengildo Ishmael kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Argentino de Banfield's goalkeeper Leonides Valentine had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roland Rosendahl. Leonides Valentine made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roland Rosendahl in the 77th minute. When Vetevendosje FC's Roland Rosendahl, in the 77th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Vetevendosje FC. Leonides Valentine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Beltrán, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the match, Vetevendosje FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lavan Querubin came free, but Eşref Tuney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Roland Rosendahl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Argentino de Banfield had played much better football throughout.
