In the 12th minute Gelu Roșeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Ponc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Villa Mitre City getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Eloy Urdaspal hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Numan Tanuğur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ariel Ponc was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With a little luck, Scorpions -MM-'s Saltuk Erva got control of the ball when Honorato Demesio tried to sneak it across the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Scorpions -MM-'s Numan Tanuğur sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ariel Ponc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benigno Ibañez kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Ariel Ponc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Numan Tanuğur in the 29th minute of play. If Numan Tanuğur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Scorpions -MM-'s Numan Tanuğur in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ferdinando Buccella was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Villa Mitre City's Eloy Urdaspal got a free kick in the 53rd minute. The supporters of Scorpions -MM- booed when Villa Mitre City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Urdaspal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Scorpions -MM-'s Edgar Matela was substituted for Gelu Roșeanu. A collision led to Villa Mitre City getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Eloy Urdaspal hit a great ball. A well done corner resulted in Gică Popescu drilling the ball in to score 1-3 behind Villa Mitre City's goalkeeper. In the 84th minute, Sergiu Golescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgar Matela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 89 minutes into the match, Villa Mitre City's goal looked a bit too open when Sergiu Golescu came free, but Ariel Ponc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Villa Mitre City's Ariel Ponc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berkin Güdü in the 90th minute of play. Villa Mitre City's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Numan Tanuğur scored to the left of an out of position Ariel Ponc, making the score, 1-4. Scorpions -MM- played a much better game than Villa Mitre City and deserved their victory. The Villa Mitre City players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
