Rodrigo Hodei was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Santos FC's Lanny Gilmore was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 40th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 43rd minute, Lanny Gilmore made a precise shot to the right of Rodrigo Hodei. Tridente de Neptuno's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. A collision led to Santos FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Arturo Turner hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The wind increased when Juliusz Lewkowicz made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Lanny Gilmore's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodrigo Hodei was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. 57 minutes into the match, Arturo Turner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodrigo Hodei. After a rather tough play, Tridente de Neptuno's Victor Gumaro got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Tridente de Neptuno's goal looked a bit too open when Lanny Gilmore came free, but Rodrigo Hodei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vinicio Refugio during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vinicio Refugio hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After 81 minutes, Damaso Gonza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tridente de Neptuno and the Santos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 81 minutes into the game, one of Tridente de Neptuno:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tridente de Neptuno:s Rodrigo Hodei showed great skill when he stopped Lanny Gilmore:s penalty. 87 minutes into the match, Mike Richardson notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Tridente de Neptuno's Rodrigo Hodei. Rodrigo Hodei was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Santos FC booed when Tridente de Neptuno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Pietro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santos FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dominic Albright in the 94th minute. 97 minutes into the game, Tyron Velasquez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Rodrigo Hodei was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Santos FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
