Fulgencio Nikola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Humberto Salomone made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Brujas KV's Pablo Roso got a free kick in the 59th minute. After some careless play in the Brujas KV defense, Eliseo Iigo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adolfo Grau. The Brujas KV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adolfo Grau should have stopped the shot. La Bichineta were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Brujas KV's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Poncio Justo took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Vennard Rojak got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Adolfo Grau quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Borys Nieuzyla hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the match, La Bichineta's goal looked a bit too open when Borys Nieuzyla came free, but Humberto Salomone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The La Bichineta supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing La Bichineta would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
