Rogério Alagoano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Dráusio Siqueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Schmidt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dráusio Siqueira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Diamantino Freitas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The WAU team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 10th minute, Sidnei Pereira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natanael Paraense was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Goiás Esporte Clube's Natanael Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jefferson Massa in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Wanderson Siqueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dráusio Siqueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogério Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the match, WAU team's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Schmidt came free, but Dráusio Siqueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 played minutes Goiás Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Wanderson Siqueira. After a rather tough play, Goiás Esporte Clube's Dong Xuan Xi got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Sidnei Pereira succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 25th playminute. Dráusio Siqueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wanderson Siqueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 33rd match minute, WAU team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruninho Borges to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adhemar Hermes in the 38th minute of play forced Goiás Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Natanael Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Goiás Esporte Clube's Natanael Paraense got control of the ball when Adhemar Hermes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Natanael Paraense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jefferson Massa in the 44th minute of the match. Dráusio Siqueira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rogério Alagoano's shot from short distance in the 45th minute.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rogério Alagoano to strike the kick off in the second half. After 50 minutes, Daniel Schmidt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Goiás Esporte Clube and the WAU team players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 50th minute, Daniel Schmidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 52 minutes into the match, Goiás Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Diamantino Freitas came free, but Natanael Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Jefferson Massa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dráusio Siqueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogério Alagoano in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruninho Borges in the 59th minute of play forced Goiás Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Natanael Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Natanael Paraense came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by WAU team's Adhemar Hermes. But to his dismay, Adhemar Hermes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 68th minute, Jefferson Massa made a precise shot to the right of Natanael Paraense. Goiás Esporte Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Goiás Esporte Clube's Natanael Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adhemar Hermes in the 72nd minute of play. Natanael Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adhemar Hermes, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute, Jefferson Massa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natanael Paraense was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. In the 80th match minute, WAU team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorginho Novaes to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute of the match, Wanderson Siqueira got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dráusio Siqueira was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Goiás Esporte Clube's Wanderson Siqueira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dráusio Siqueira. That made the score 6-1 after 90 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruninho Borges in the 94th minute of play forced Goiás Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Natanael Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
WAU team were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Goiás Esporte Clube for a fine match.
