A very good chance for a goal. When Wambalamba FC's Dário Diniz in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Dário Diniz sped through G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sandro Macedo. After 16 minutes, Jeremias Valadares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the G.E. Juventus FSCMZ and the Wambalamba FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Toninho Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Valadares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 played minutes Wambalamba FC got a freekick which was hit by João Paulo Dantas. G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's Ulisses Melo got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Luciano Salgado managed to get in a good position for a shot. G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Luciano Salgado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toninho Moura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wambalamba FC's Toninho Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulisses Melo in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Wambalamba FC's João Paulo Dantas got a free kick in the 45th minute.

The wind increased when Cauã Barreto made the kick off in the second half. Ulisses Melo hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Noel Carioca took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sandro Macedo. G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Toninho Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dito de Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Belmiro Tinoco notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's Sandro Macedo. Sandro Macedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Luiz Cerezo fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's protests and gave Luiz Cerezo a yellow card for diving instead. Luiz Cerezo kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. If Ulisses Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luciano Salgado struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Toninho Moura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for G.E. Juventus FSCMZ. Ulisses Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Toninho Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Toninho Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Salgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 77 minutes into the match, G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Cauã Barreto came free, but Sandro Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Jeremias Valadares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toninho Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Salgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 83 minutes Wambalamba FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jeremias Valadares who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Jeremias Valadares almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Wambalamba FC's Toninho Moura did a great save. Jeremias Valadares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Wambalamba FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Murilo Soares hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, Wambalamba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Salgado came free, but Toninho Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Wambalamba FC's Toninho Moura got control of the ball when Ulisses Melo tried to sneak it across the goal line.

G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
