Borys Witek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Björkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 23rd minute Daniel Dropinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Kilstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Blueskatterna's Greger Rudkvist got a free kick in the 23rd minute. The coaching staff of FC Blueskatterna protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Erik Majman had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 40th minute, one of FC Blueskatterna:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Blueskatterna. In the 42nd minute there was a penalty for STAL ST WOLA. Antoni Bubczyk stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ingvar Kilstedt. 0-4. Greger Rudkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Borys Witek made a huge save. In the 47th minute, Göran Danielsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The STAL ST WOLA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Peter Björkman to make the kick off. STAL ST WOLA's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
