Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) SK Dreigoten's Franky Dhollander started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Bob Gøl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaques Schoolmeesters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SK Dreigoten's Jaques Schoolmeesters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Tinoco in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Octavian Herinckx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 10th minute Valério Peres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaques Schoolmeesters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute of the match, Jeremias Tinoco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jaques Schoolmeesters saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 15 minutes into the match, Misericordia EC's goal looked a bit too open when Franky Dhollander came free, but Léo Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, SK Dreigoten's Jaques Schoolmeesters got control of the ball when Bob Dinamite tried to sneak it across the goal line. Léo Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franky Dhollander in the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robby Rokeloos in the 34th minute of play forced Misericordia EC's goalkeeper Léo Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Misericordia EC were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after SK Dreigoten's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bob Dinamite took the corner. Jeffrey Degryse thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Jaques Schoolmeesters, a very annoying self made goal in the 36th minute which led to 2-0. Bob Gøl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jaques Schoolmeesters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeremias Tinoco made a kick off. Misericordia EC's Léo Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johny Waegemans in the 53rd minute of play. Léo Leão came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by SK Dreigoten's Robby Rokeloos. But to his dismay, Robby Rokeloos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 64th minute of the match Misericordia EC got a corner. SK Dreigoten's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bob Dinamite ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Misericordia EC's Bob Dinamite to fire away a dangerous shot which Jaques Schoolmeesters despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jaques Schoolmeesters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Tinoco in the 74th minute of play. After 75 minutes SK Dreigoten's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bob Dinamite who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Valério Peres managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Jaques Schoolmeesters showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Tinoco, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The audience was convinced that Jeremias Tinoco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaques Schoolmeesters was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zico Matamoros during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th match minute, Misericordia EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zico Matamoros to maneuver through the defense. Eriberto de Alcântara hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Misericordia EC's Léo Leão got control of the ball when Robby Rokeloos tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Robby Rokeloos fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SK Dreigoten's protests and gave Robby Rokeloos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SK Dreigoten getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Robby Rokeloos hit a great ball. Gustaaf Libesoons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bob Fenomeno lost his temper 93 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of Misericordia EC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SK Dreigoten:s goal. A collision led to Misericordia EC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Ian Brasil hit a great ball. Misericordia EC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
