Dráusio Siqueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franky Dhollander, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Dráusio Siqueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robby Rokeloos in the 24th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Franky Dhollander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dráusio Siqueira was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. After 28 played minutes SK Dreigoten got a freekick which was hit by Roger De Rijck. In the 29th minute, Adhemar Hermes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the game, Roger De Rijck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SK Dreigoten's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave WAU team the free kick. Jaques Schoolmeesters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jefferson Massa in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute Jefferson Massa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaques Schoolmeesters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to WAU team getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Sidnei Pereira hit a great ball. In the 45thth minute of the game Franky Dhollander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but WAU team's Dráusio Siqueira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Jefferson Massa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jaques Schoolmeesters was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Franky Dhollander to strike the kick off in the second half. Jaques Schoolmeesters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adhemar Hermes in the 54th minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, WAU team's Adhemar Hermes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jaques Schoolmeesters made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After 58 minutes of play, WAU team's Diamantino Freitas made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jaques Schoolmeesters was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd minute, WAU team's Mané Abreu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mané Abreu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of WAU team protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mané Abreu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, WAU team's Mané Abreu got a free kick in the 64th minute. SK Dreigoten's Jaques Schoolmeesters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diamantino Freitas in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidnei Pereira in the 67th minute of play forced SK Dreigoten's goalkeeper Jaques Schoolmeesters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When WAU team's Sidnei Pereira in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jaques Schoolmeesters took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidnei Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diamantino Freitas in the 77th minute of play forced SK Dreigoten's goalkeeper Jaques Schoolmeesters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SK Dreigoten's Jaques Schoolmeesters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diamantino Freitas in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SK Dreigoten's Robby Rokeloos got a free kick in the 80th minute. Robby Rokeloos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Dráusio Siqueira made a huge save. SK Dreigoten's Jaques Schoolmeesters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diamantino Freitas in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adhemar Hermes in the 87th minute of play forced SK Dreigoten's goalkeeper Jaques Schoolmeesters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Octavian Herinckx got free with Dráusio Siqueira in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92nd match minute, SK Dreigoten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolf Schellekens to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Diamantino Freitas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jaques Schoolmeesters was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0.
