After 9 played minutes, Poetass FC's Marcin Kawa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Víctor Valdés came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Poetass FC reached it. Samuel De Paula charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samuel De Paula the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th match minute, Calaflores FC. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel De Paula to maneuver through the defense. Víctor Valdés came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Poetass FC's Benedito Braga. But to his dismay, Benedito Braga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedito Braga in the 20th minute of play forced Calaflores FC.'s goalkeeper Víctor Valdés to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Calaflores FC.'s zone, Gerson Carneiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Víctor Valdés came out of the goal and Gerson Carneiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Benedito Braga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Álvaro Morata got free with Amílton Paraíba in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With 30 minutes on the clock, Alphonso Davies commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Calaflores FC.'s Alphonso Davies got a free kick in the 30th minute. Crispo Barroso struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Amílton Paraíba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calaflores FC.. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Benedito Braga put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Víctor Valdés. In the 40th minute, André Proença left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Poetass FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Álvaro Morata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benedito Braga to strike the kick off in the second half. Víctor Valdés showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerson Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Calaflores FC.'s Víctor Valdés proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Calaflores FC. from getting a goal against them. Víctor Valdés showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerson Carneiro in the 59th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Gerson Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Poetass FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerson Carneiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Víctor Valdés breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Laureano Zapater charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Laureano Zapater the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marcin Kawa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Víctor Valdés. Calaflores FC.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 68th minute, Benedito Braga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Álvaro Morata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute Gerson Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Víctor Valdés saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro Morata in the 75th minute of play forced Poetass FC's goalkeeper Amílton Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Calaflores FC.'s Crispo Barroso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amílton Paraíba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andoni Montiel kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Calaflores FC.'s Víctor Valdés played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raphael Almeida in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerson Carneiro in the 83rd minute of play forced Calaflores FC.'s goalkeeper Víctor Valdés to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Víctor Valdés made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Nildo de Souza sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Poetass FC's Gerson Carneiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Víctor Valdés. That made the score 0-4 after 88 minutes of play. 92 minutes into the match, Raphael Almeida had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Víctor Valdés. Calaflores FC.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raphael Almeida was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Raphael Almeida did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-6 to the left of a surprised Víctor Valdés 95 minutes into the match. The Calaflores FC. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Poetass FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
