The audience thought a goal was coming when Van Field got free with Harald Dyrseth in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 6 minutes into the game, SOUTH THUNDER's Fermin Aznar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Harald Dyrseth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 10th minute, Victor Kiliz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Van Field in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Harald Dyrseth, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience was convinced that Sverre Robert's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastian Xabier was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Dum Dum Boys Athletics's Harald Dyrseth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Dum Dum Boys Athletics from getting a goal against them. 22 minutes into the game, SOUTH THUNDER's Victor Kiliz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Harald Dyrseth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 25 minutes into the game, Victor Kiliz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Harald Dyrseth. Victor Kiliz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. 28 minutes into the match, Dum Dum Boys Athletics's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Kiliz came free, but Harald Dyrseth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harald Dyrseth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Kiliz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to SOUTH THUNDER getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Van Field hit a great ball. Victor Kiliz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Casemiro Mønster fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SOUTH THUNDER's protests and gave Casemiro Mønster a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th match minute, SOUTH THUNDER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casemiro Mønster to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute of the match Bendik Skjetne shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sebastian Xabier showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Van Field was the one to do the kick off. If Severin Evertsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dum Dum Boys Athletics's Harald Dyrseth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Van Field in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Helge Dramstad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harald Dyrseth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Van Field, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the game, Van Field cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Sebastian Xabier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sverre Robert in the 79th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, SOUTH THUNDER's Van Field nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Harald Dyrseth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Van Field sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, SOUTH THUNDER's Augusto Raymond got a free kick in the 90th minute. SOUTH THUNDER's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
