Tiago Gabriel Cabral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wiliam Perez's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. In the 8thth minute of the game Wiliam Perez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vae Victis!!'s Tiago Gabriel Cabral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Atlético Capixaba fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Atlético Capixaba's Wiliam Perez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Atlético Capixaba's attentive Faustão Sá managed to snatch the ball when Luís Eduardo Mangueira made a throw-in in the 15th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wiliam Perez in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiago Gabriel Cabral saved Vae Victis!! from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorian Neto got free with Jean Schmidt in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Faustão Sá's late challenge caught a Vae Victis!!'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Faustão Sá helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd match minute, Atlético Capixaba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustão Sá to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, Atlético Capixaba's goalkeeper Jean Schmidt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vitório Pimenta. After having played for 27 minutes, Wiliam Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Capixaba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wiliam Perez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Vae Victis!!'s zone, Wiliam Perez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiago Gabriel Cabral came out of the goal and Wiliam Perez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Vae Victis!!'s Luís Eduardo Mangueira got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 36th minute of the match Atlético Capixaba got a corner. Vae Victis!!'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Douglas Medeiros ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Atlético Capixaba's Douglas Medeiros to fire away a dangerous shot which Tiago Gabriel Cabral despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 40th minute, Wiliam Perez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético Capixaba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. A collision led to Atlético Capixaba getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Ramiro Tavares hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Délio Tasso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wiliam Perez to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Wiliam Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Capixaba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wiliam Perez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Wiliam Perez notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Vae Victis!!'s Tiago Gabriel Cabral. Tiago Gabriel Cabral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 59th minute, Vae Victis!!'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Wiliam Perez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Vae Victis!! booed when Atlético Capixaba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Douglas Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jean Schmidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorian Neto in the 61st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Wiliam Perez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tiago Gabriel Cabral. That made the score 0-5 in the 64 minute of play. Atlético Capixaba made a substitution. André Guimarães replaced Wiliam Perez. Atlético Capixaba's Fu Jun Feng was substituted for Marian Witkowski. Tiago Gabriel Cabral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Guimarães in the 70th minute of the match. Vae Victis!!'s Ezequiel Hermes was substituted for Dorian Neto. Vae Victis!!'s Falcão Garcia was substituted for Vitório Pimenta. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Guimarães in the 77th minute of play forced Vae Victis!!'s goalkeeper Tiago Gabriel Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiago Gabriel Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Guimarães in the 79th minute of play. Ivo Domingues's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jean Schmidt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. André Guimarães succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 82nd playminute. Oswaldo Brasil's late challenge caught a Atlético Capixaba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oswaldo Brasil helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th match minute, Vae Victis!! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oswaldo Brasil to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Atlético Capixaba's Ramiro Tavares tried to score from far away in the 89th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Vae Victis!!'s zone, André Guimarães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiago Gabriel Cabral came out of the goal and André Guimarães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atlético Capixaba played a much better game than Vae Victis!! and deserved their victory. The Vae Victis!! players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
