An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Romero in the 5th minute of play forced The Owls's goalkeeper Francisc Firoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Tio Cosme FC booed when The Owls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantin Stelian didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute Joel Bufi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustin Irusta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to The Owls getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Constantin Stelian hit a great ball. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Owls's goalkeeper Francisc Firoiu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the The Owls defense, Silvano Quirce kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Francisc Firoiu. The The Owls fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Francisc Firoiu should have stopped the shot. Silvano Quirce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Francisc Firoiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agustin Irusta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Bufi in the 26th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Maximino Romero notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of The Owls's Francisc Firoiu. Francisc Firoiu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 37 minutes into the game, Tio Cosme FC's Epifanio Incendio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francisc Firoiu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 44 minutes into the match, Epifanio Incendio notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of The Owls's Francisc Firoiu. Francisc Firoiu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Bufi made a kick off. With a little luck, The Owls's Francisc Firoiu got control of the ball when Armando Silvino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Francisc Firoiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epifanio Incendio in the 56th minute of the match. Agustin Irusta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Ursulescu in the 60th minute of play. If Silvano Quirce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximino Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Francisc Firoiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Silvano Quirce reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Francisc Firoiu. The goal made the score 0-5. After some careless play in the Tio Cosme FC defense, Valentin Ursulescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Agustin Irusta. The Tio Cosme FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agustin Irusta should have stopped the shot. 88 minutes into the match, Tio Cosme FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Ursulescu came free, but Agustin Irusta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Francisc Firoiu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tio Cosme FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
