The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Johan Vloeberghs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 6th minute Dominic Blocks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gino Bessone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Three Towers United's Waut Limpens got control of the ball when Serafin Bilbo tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to FC Kopenalguen getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Bruno Maiorga hit a great ball. Three Towers United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Bruno Maiorga scored to the left of an out of position Waut Limpens, making the score, 1-0. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Laurens De Ceuster hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johan Vloeberghs in the 55th minute of play forced FC Kopenalguen's goalkeeper Gino Bessone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Three Towers United's Luka Uijtterhoeven sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gino Bessone narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Serafin Bilbo managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Kopenalguen's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafin Bilbo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waut Limpens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to FC Kopenalguen getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Constantino Montez hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute of the match Dominic Blocks sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gino Bessone skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Silbestre in the 96th minute of play forced Three Towers United's goalkeeper Waut Limpens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
