After a defensive mix-up in SANTOS FC- FDFDF's zone, Holger Korst stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jano Bezerra came out of the goal and Holger Korst tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th minute, SANTOS FC- FDFDF's Luís Fernando Pereira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Luís Fernando Pereira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aleksander Thalbitzer. That made the score 2-0 in the 13 minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Horácio Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SANTOS FC- FDFDF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Holmkjar Hotspurs the free kick. Horácio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The supporters of Holmkjar Hotspurs booed when SANTOS FC- FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hudson Valadares didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute, Holger Korst hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute, Silvinho Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SANTOS FC- FDFDF's Jano Bezerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Holger Korst in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Hudson Valadares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, Falcão Araújo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jano Bezerra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Holger Korst's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isak Wachenschwanz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the SANTOS FC- FDFDF defense, Holger Korst kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jano Bezerra. The SANTOS FC- FDFDF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jano Bezerra should have stopped the shot. Jano Bezerra made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Holger Korst sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, SANTOS FC- FDFDF's Falcão Araújo got a free kick in the 60th minute. Aleksander Thalbitzer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horácio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The supporters of Holmkjar Hotspurs booed when SANTOS FC- FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hudson Valadares didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute, Silvinho Mendonça ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aleksander Thalbitzer was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Holmkjar Hotspurs made a substitution. Melkior Veje replaced Olfert Lodian. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Stig Halvgaard was substituted for Jann Sparegodt. With a little luck, SANTOS FC- FDFDF's Jano Bezerra got control of the ball when Holger Korst tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78th minute, Micael Byvold got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th minute, Holger Korst left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Holmkjar Hotspurs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Hudson Valadares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Aleksander Thalbitzer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Holmkjar Hotspurs's Isak Wachenschwanz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jano Bezerra. Jano Bezerra yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
