The audience was convinced that Paul Prince's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl-Oskar Utfal was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. The corner led The Seventh Eleven's Georg Busk to fire away a dangerous shot which Göran Ekström despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Karl-Oskar Utfal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Röd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, The Seventh Eleven's Maximilian Blomkvist got a free kick in the 46th minute.

Guaberto Perico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Karl-Oskar Utfal made a huge save.
