Mason Mount was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Gaming FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anísio Recife to make the kick off. The ball had pretty good speed, but Roland Delbridge firmly grabbed it by the left post.
