After some careless play in the Barrenta SC defense, Gong Chao Ke kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patric Isaksson. The Barrenta SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patric Isaksson should have stopped the shot. Gong Chao Ke blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patric Isaksson having to make a save. In the 7th minute Gong Chao Ke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patric Isaksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Barrenta SC's Di Marinho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Nariman Mansourian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Alysson Rezende made a huge save. 20 minutes into the game, Ogro F.C.'s Gong Chao Ke nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patric Isaksson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Gong Chao Ke's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patric Isaksson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Jerônimo Vergílio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patric Isaksson having to interfere. After 32 played minutes Barrenta SC got a freekick which was hit by Nariman Mansourian. Gong Chao Ke struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Patric Isaksson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ogro F.C.. Barrenta SC's Patric Isaksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerônimo Vergílio in the 38th minute of play. After 39 minutes Barrenta SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alex Van Halen who took care of the corner kick. 46 minutes into the match, Di Marinho notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Ogro F.C.'s Alysson Rezende. Alysson Rezende was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Agustín Tastzian was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Barrenta SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Paulo do Valle to maneuver through the defense. Barrenta SC's Patric Isaksson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Barrenta SC from getting a goal against them. Ogro F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alex Van Halen in the 53rd minute. A nice corner shot did that João Barone got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Patric Isaksson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gong Chao Ke who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Patric Isaksson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alysson Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nariman Mansourian in the 61st minute of the match. Nariman Mansourian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alysson Rezende having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nariman Mansourian in the 65th minute of play forced Ogro F.C.'s goalkeeper Alysson Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 66 minutes, Valdemar Cabral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barrenta SC and the Ogro F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ogro F.C. booed when Barrenta SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdemar Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ogro F.C. made a substitution. Nicko McBrain replaced Alex Van Halen. After 67 played minutes Barrenta SC got a freekick which was hit by Valdemar Cabral. Gong Chao Ke was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 69th minute. Ogro F.C.'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 71 minutes into the match, Ogro F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Fellipe Lago came free, but Alysson Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Barrenta SC's Fellipe Lago in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ogro F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Alysson Rezende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Tastzian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alysson Rezende made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Ogro F.C. made a substitution. Igor Cavalera replaced Gong Chao Ke. Barrenta SC's Urban Stenman was substituted for Fellipe Lago. After a defensive mix-up in Barrenta SC's zone, Igor Cavalera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patric Isaksson came out of the goal and Igor Cavalera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the match, Ogro F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Di Marinho came free, but Alysson Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Igor Cavalera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ogro F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Cavalera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patric Isaksson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that Barrenta SC were the better team. Barrenta SC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
