Cristian Hats came out and tried to block the shot, but Rubens Cabral slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 2nd minute. Cristian Hats dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Cristian Hats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmyr Salles in the 14th minute of play. Cristian Hats made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luizão Dantas in the 29th minute. A collision led to PLASNIKE getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Feliciano Ler hit a great ball. Cristian Hats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubens Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute of the match AVAÍ F.C. got a corner. PLASNIKE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luiz Pombal ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Rubens Cabral almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but PLASNIKE's Cristian Hats did a great save. Cristian Hats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walmyr Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Hats made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luizão Dantas in the 45th minute. In the 45th match minute, PLASNIKE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severiano Hegoi to maneuver through the defense. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luizão Dantas to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luizão Dantas in the 51st minute of play forced PLASNIKE's goalkeeper Cristian Hats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Luizão Dantas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. When the referee ended the match the AVAÍ F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
