In the 8th minute Mark Elzer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, SV Bad Harzburg's goalkeeper Jacek Matuch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by George Mbappè. 11 minutes into the game, Kaimo Liiva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SV Bad Harzburg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Three Lions FC the free kick. In the 14th minute George Messi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacek Matuch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to SV Bad Harzburg getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Jurek Ohrem hit a great ball. Jacek Matuch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Ekeroth in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute Three Lions FC were awarded a corner. George Stones went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Three Lions FC's George Stones to fire away a dangerous shot which Jacek Matuch despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 24th minute Silvestre Loi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jurek Ohrem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacek Matuch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Messi in the 28th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Éthan Pichard during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to SV Bad Harzburg getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Éthan Pichard hit a great ball. Jacek Matuch came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Three Lions FC's George Messi. But to his dismay, George Messi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. George Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Loi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Three Lions FC's goalie and right to Éthan Pichard. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Three Lions FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvestre Loi made a kick off. The SV Bad Harzburg fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when SV Bad Harzburg's Silvestre Loi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. George Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Éthan Pichard in the 55th minute of the match. George Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Loi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, SV Bad Harzburg's goal looked a bit too open when Gunnar Ekeroth came free, but Jacek Matuch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Three Lions FC's George Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Loi in the 62nd minute of play. Silvestre Loi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 67 played minutes Jurek Ohrem rounded Three Lions FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Elzer in the 70th minute of play forced Three Lions FC's goalkeeper George Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as SV Bad Harzburg's Mark Elzer slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of George Buffon. That made the score 1-3 after 76 minutes of play. George Buffon was a little too slow when Silvestre Loi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 1-4. 91 minutes into the match, Three Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jurek Ohrem came free, but George Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Jurek Ohrem kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving George Buffon. That made the score 1-6 in the 92 minute of play. The SV Bad Harzburg players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
