After a rather tough play, The Obscurials's Kevin Lyle got a free kick in the 30th minute. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cliff Rowden was slow to take the kick. During this time The Obscurials's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Cliff Rowden got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Omar Duardo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Omar Duardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anders Westerstrand in the 37th minute of the match. Omar Duardo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adriano Ribeiro's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Safet Hands took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edison Brena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Ribeiro came free, but Omar Duardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Genko Balevski made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Lúcio Joinvilense hit a great ball. After 62nd play minutes Genko Balevski shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Safet Hands and just under the crossbar into goal. Cliff Rowden made a great header on The Obscurials's corner, it was just that CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Omar Duardo managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurinho Arruda in the 70th minute of play forced The Obscurials's goalkeeper Safet Hands to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Omar Duardo was a little too slow when Adriano Ribeiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 1-3. Xayveon Orsini hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After having played for 89 minutes, Cliff Rowden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Obscurials's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cliff Rowden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Omar Duardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle went the supporters of The Obscurials were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA side.
