In the 31st minute, Balthazar Bär made a precise shot to the right of Olger Azofeifa. U21 Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Olger Azofeifa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Balthazar Bär in the 37th minute of the match. In the 39thth minute of the game Balthazar Bär who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Costa Rica's Olger Azofeifa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The U21 Sweden fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when U21 Sweden's Balthazar Bär looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 43rd minute Hong Unge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olger Azofeifa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. U21 Sweden played a much better game than U21 Costa Rica and deserved their victory. The U21 Costa Rica players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
