After 23 minutes Roceira SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Segundo Belarmo who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Atlético Montserrat's corner Segundo Belarmo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcell Barovero quite easily take care of the ball. Jesus Luke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aílton Damião in the 27th minute. Michel Haaland charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michel Haaland the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Roceira SC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. The Atlético Montserrat supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Atlético Montserrat would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
