In the 14th minute, Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's William Cardozo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hílton Vieira. Hílton Vieira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Falcão da Silveira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Hílton Vieira made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Falcão da Silveira got free with Hílton Vieira in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Falcão da Silveira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dito Gaspar during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zé Augusto Sena received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gualter Vinhas came out and tried to block the shot, but Zé Augusto Sena slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 59th minute. Hílton Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Falcão da Silveira in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute William Cardozo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hílton Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Aloísio Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute, William Cardozo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 78 minutes, João Francisco da Rocha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Remedios SC and the Heidemann FC - FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. 81 minutes into the match, Remedios SC's goal looked a bit too open when William Cardozo came free, but Hílton Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 82 minutes, Válter Fantini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Remedios SC and the Heidemann FC - FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Remedios SC's Válter Fantini managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Basílio Pernambucano in the 88 minute of the game. If Falcão da Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Heidemann FC - FSCMZ lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
