Thomas Vollmar scored 1-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 卓轩广, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Newcastle United's Tanek Rakowski got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 19th minute, Edward Lampa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 温城凌 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ksawery Kiepski having to make a save. In the 23rd minute Remigiusz Bronkala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 卓轩广 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Newcastle United's goalkeeper Ksawery Kiepski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, 淡泊明志&宁静致远's 卓轩广 got control of the ball when Remigiusz Bronkala tried to sneak it across the goal line. 淡泊明志&宁静致远's 卓轩广 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save 淡泊明志&宁静致远 from getting a goal against them. 卓轩广 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Remigiusz Bronkala in the 39th minute. He was immediately shown a red card. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 史松林 was the one to do the kick off. In the 55thth minute of the game Thomas Vollmar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 淡泊明志&宁静致远's 卓轩广 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 史松林 struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Ksawery Kiepski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 淡泊明志&宁静致远. 卓轩广 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigiusz Bronkala, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 梅勇坤 hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. When Newcastle United's Edward Lampa in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 淡泊明志&宁静致远's goalie prevented a goal. 67 minutes into the match, Thomas Vollmar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 卓轩广. 淡泊明志&宁静致远's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thomas Vollmar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 梅勇坤 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Ksawery Kiepski made a huge save. After 72 played minutes Newcastle United got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Walkowski. Ksawery Kiepski was a little too slow when 史松林 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 3-1. If 曾城平 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 卓轩广 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Vollmar in the 81st minute of the match. Ksawery Kiepski made an important save on a dangerous shot by 曾城平 in the 84th minute. In the 87th minute Thomas Vollmar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 卓轩广 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, 淡泊明志&宁静致远's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Lampa came free, but 卓轩广 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Newcastle United's Filip Orling got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Ksawery Kiepski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 史松林 in the 93rd minute of play. Ksawery Kiepski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 史松林's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Many of 淡泊明志&宁静致远's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. 淡泊明志&宁静致远 may have spent more time on the ball, but Newcastle United were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
