In the 3rd minute Vítězslav Kršek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gordon Horgan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute Jakub Jakeš shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gordon Horgan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gordon Horgan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from František Havlát in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Rohozec's goal looked a bit too open when Wiktor Dropinski came free, but David Velecký reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, COPERNICUS TORUŃ's Gustavo Coates got a free kick in the 14th minute. David Velecký showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiktor Dropinski in the 16th minute of the match. Gordon Horgan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakub Jakeš, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Wiktor Dropinski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of David Velecký, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Rohozec's František Havlát got a free kick in the 25th minute. COPERNICUS TORUŃ's Gordon Horgan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítězslav Kršek in the 27th minute of play. František Havlát sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gordon Horgan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from František Havlát in the 32nd minute of play. Brion Murphy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but David Velecký made a huge save. In the 39th minute, Olgun Oktay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Velecký was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 44 minutes into the match, Rohozec's goalkeeper David Velecký had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olgun Oktay. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Rohozec made a substitution. Kryštof Krejcar replaced František Havlát. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítězslav Kršek in the 52nd minute of play forced COPERNICUS TORUŃ's goalkeeper Gordon Horgan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jakub Jakešs short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Gordon Horgan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 57 minutes COPERNICUS TORUŃ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yavuz Selim Baransel who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Rohozec's Yavuz Selim Baransel to fire away a dangerous shot which Gordon Horgan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 87th minute, Vítězslav Kršek fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gordon Horgan, passed just outside the right post. 89 minutes into the game, Jakub Jakeš cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Gordon Horgan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. COPERNICUS TORUŃ's Gordon Horgan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save COPERNICUS TORUŃ from getting a goal against them. 93 minutes into the game, Brion Murphy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. COPERNICUS TORUŃ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rohozec the free kick. In the 93rd minute, Brion Murphy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, COPERNICUS TORUŃ's Gordon Horgan got control of the ball when Jakub Jakeš tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vítězslav Kršek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Gordon Horgan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
