The Scotland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robert Davison should have stopped the shot. Scotland's Robert Davison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Friday Sobota in the 32nd minute of play. Thomas Lawrie hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Jupiter Siemiatycze's Azim Onatsu got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robert Davison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jason Asselberghs in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute of the match Jupiter Siemiatycze got a corner. Scotland's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Azim Onatsu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thomas Lawrie made in the 46th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Jupiter Siemiatycze's Adam Kante. Friday Sobota hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ronan McCunn to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Scotland's Ronan McCunn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dobromir Klawki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Friday Sobota during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
