A wasted opportunity for Real de Carmelo 2021 FC. After a rather tough play, Australian Youth Academy's Bo Mcquoid got a free kick in the 12th minute. Thiago Cardozo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Maxi Araujo made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sharizan Keng came free, but Thiago Cardozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute of the match, Maxi Araujo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Baxter Baba was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Bo Mcquoid fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Australian Youth Academy's protests and gave Bo Mcquoid a yellow card for diving instead.
