Nunez Iraitz made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Sharizan Keng sent off a good shot on target. Fletcher Baba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Nunez Iraitz made a huge save. After 20 minutes, Fletcher Baba made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Esparta FC's Nunez Iraitz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Esparta FC's Filomeno Salomone managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Carmichael Tinsley in the 23 minute of the game. Esparta FC's Nunez Iraitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Esparta FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dwight Baba got free with Nunez Iraitz in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nunez Iraitz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 37th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fletcher Baba made a kick off. 60 minutes into the match, Esparta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sharizan Keng came free, but Nunez Iraitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 61 played minutes Australian Youth Academy got a freekick which was hit by Lawrance Alwege. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fletcher Baba in the 66th minute of play forced Esparta FC's goalkeeper Nunez Iraitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Fletcher Baba notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Esparta FC's Nunez Iraitz. Nunez Iraitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 74th minute of the match, Ettore Marchegiani got a very nice opportunity to score, but Baxter Baba was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fletcher Baba in the 76th minute of play forced Esparta FC's goalkeeper Nunez Iraitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baxter Baba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Honesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Australian Youth Academy's Carmichael Tinsley got a free kick in the 83rd minute. A sloppy throw-in by Carmichael Tinsley in the 85th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Esparta FC's Claudio Echeverri. Efrain Trifol kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Nunez Iraitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fletcher Baba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
