In the 8th match minute, Várdomb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kálmán Horváth to maneuver through the defense. Christian Thorsberg took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Renátó Bolla. Renátó Bolla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Svante Sigman kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. The supporters of Várdomb booed when Golden Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evert Ahlgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sándor Karsai kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Evert Ahlgren struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Renátó Bolla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Golden Lions FC. Golden Lions FC's Conny Ånger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Golden Lions FC from getting a goal against them. If Balázs Madaras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conny Ånger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrik Gyarmati, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 39th minute, Evert Ahlgren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golden Lions FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Balázs Héj hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Renátó Bolla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Thorsberg in the 45th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert Ahlgren in the 46th minute of play forced Várdomb's goalkeeper Renátó Bolla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Várdomb players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Golden Lions FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christian Thorsberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Christian Thorsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renátó Bolla having to interfere. If Evert Ahlgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57thth minute of the game Christian Thorsberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Várdomb's Renátó Bolla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kálmán Horváth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conny Ånger having to interfere. Renátó Bolla was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Christian Thorsberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Christian Thorsberg really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Conny Ånger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kálmán Horváth, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After a rather tough play, Várdomb's Sándor Karsai got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Renátó Bolla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Thorsberg in the 90th minute. After a rather tough play, Golden Lions FC's Thomas Pilberg got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After 93 minutes of play, Várdomb's Sándor Szilágyi made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Conny Ånger was left in no man's land by his defense there! Golden Lions FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Várdomb's much stronger midfield.
