Edvaldo Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dênis de Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Goblins F.C.'s Agostinho Saraiva got a free kick in the 8th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Wilian Antunes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Clóvis Sergipano. Wilian Antunes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 22 played minutes Goblins F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Marquinhos de Andrade. With a little luck, Goblins F.C.'s Clóvis Sergipano got control of the ball when Otávio Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luís Paulo Rosado charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Paulo Rosado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Clóvis Sergipano made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Wilian Antunes sent off a good shot on target. 41 minutes into the game, Otávio Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Clóvis Sergipano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Clóvis Sergipano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maicon de Amorim in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dênis de Almeida was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Otávio Montenegro in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clóvis Sergipano saved Goblins F.C. from getting behind. In the 56th minute, Agostinho Saraiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clóvis Sergipano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilian Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maicon de Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jovens Democratas MZC made a substitution. Emanuel Branco replaced Sérgio Chaves. Maicon de Amorim scored 4-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clóvis Sergipano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Goblins F.C. booed when Jovens Democratas MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clóvis Sergipano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maicon de Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute Maicon de Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clóvis Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeferson Santana struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Clóvis Sergipano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jovens Democratas MZC. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Willian Carioca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goblins F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Willian Carioca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edvaldo Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maicon de Amorim in the 84th minute of play forced Goblins F.C.'s goalkeeper Clóvis Sergipano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clóvis Sergipano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otávio Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute Emanuel Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clóvis Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Willian Carioca kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Gugu Aparecido's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Clóvis Sergipano on his right side and into the goal. 98 minutes into the game it was 5-0.
