Dario Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Wassenius, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Adrian Sillén stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilberto Guipuzkoa's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute, Alo Ba made a precise shot to the right of Adrian Sillén. Oakcroft Thrashers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Rune Alstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dan Wassenius got free with Dario Barros in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute, Tomas Klint reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dario Barros. The goal made the score 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilberto Guipuzkoa was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilberto Guipuzkoa in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adrian Sillén prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adrian Sillén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Osmundo in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Oakcroft Thrashers's Stig Bengtsson got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute, Villiam Finman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zeledon Osmundo missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 61 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Adrian Sillén right hand side. In the 63rd minute, Tomas Klint hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Adrian Sillén successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dan Wassenius hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Gilberto Guipuzkoa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th match minute, Oakcroft Thrashers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olov Wennerquist to maneuver through the defense. Zeledon Osmundo hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute of the match Olov Wennerquist sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dario Barros skillfully saved the ball. If Alo Ba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
