Sylwester Zarobski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joesph Dalton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valdemar de Amaral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramon Goyo having to make a save. 16 minutes into the match, Grêmio Esportivo 20 Julho's goal looked a bit too open when Joesph Dalton came free, but Sylwester Zarobski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to El Lobo getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Antoni Dytrych hit a great ball. Valdir Cavalcante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, Grêmio Esportivo 20 Julho's goal looked a bit too open when Joesph Dalton came free, but Sylwester Zarobski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Valdemar de Amaral, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 21 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ramon Goyo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Sylwester Zarobski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Santiago in the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Gilmar Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Goyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Grêmio Esportivo 20 Julho's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Santiago came free, but Sylwester Zarobski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Joesph Dalton's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sylwester Zarobski firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 65th minute, Ulises Berdaitz made a precise shot to the right of Sylwester Zarobski. Grêmio Esportivo 20 Julho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 68th match minute, El Lobo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeo Coleira to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdemar de Amaral in the 69th minute of play forced El Lobo's goalkeeper Ramon Goyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Ulises Berdaitz notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Grêmio Esportivo 20 Julho's Sylwester Zarobski. With a little luck, Grêmio Esportivo 20 Julho's Sylwester Zarobski got control of the ball when Ceferino Aztore tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of El Lobo booed when Grêmio Esportivo 20 Julho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdemar de Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sylwester Zarobski came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by El Lobo's Joesph Dalton. But to his dismay, Joesph Dalton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Sylwester Zarobski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Santiago in the 89th minute of play. Sylwester Zarobski was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Jonas Santiago capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jonas Santiago really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. Ramon Goyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jânio Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute of the match Grêmio Esportivo 20 Julho got a corner. El Lobo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Humberto Soeiro ran over to the corner to take the kick. El Lobo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
