Bonifacio Paez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Criston in the 20th minute of the match. Generoso Gaxan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amnon Mitta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Ireland 1921's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Gabrielsson came free, but Generoso Gaxan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Generoso Gaxan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amnon Mitta went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Bonifacio Paez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Criston in the 31st minute of play. Boguslaw Kaider might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bonifacio Paez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Boguslaw Kaider ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Ireland 1921 getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Aureliano Senin hit a great ball. Generoso Gaxan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jared Wolfman in the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Jared Wolfman made a precise shot to the right of Generoso Gaxan. Ireland 1921's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Aureliano Senin hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Generoso Gaxan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amnon Mitta's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After the first half Kiryat Gat were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amnon Mitta was the one to do the kick off. Herbert Banaszak hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amnon Mitta in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Generoso Gaxan saved Ireland 1921 from getting behind. Yachil Givati struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. The supporters of Kiryat Gat booed when Ireland 1921 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinicio Etxahun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bonifacio Paez was left in no man's land by his defense there!
