The audience was convinced that Oswaldo Dionísio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wellington Barbosa was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. 13 minutes into the game, Tadeu Botelho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vasco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Afyon İdman Yurdu the free kick. Tadeu Botelho kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Oswaldo Dionísio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wellington Barbosa having to interfere. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Oswaldo Dionísio sped through Vasco FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wellington Barbosa. Wellington Barbosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oswaldo Dionísio's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute of the match Afyon İdman Yurdu got a corner. Vasco FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Oswaldo Dionísio ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Oswaldo Dionísio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vasco FC's Wellington Barbosa did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in Vasco FC's zone, Kamer Uram stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wellington Barbosa came out of the goal and Kamer Uram tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Vasco FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Afyon İdman Yurdu were winning 0-4.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oswaldo Dionísio in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wellington Barbosa saved Vasco FC from getting behind. Wellington Barbosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oswaldo Dionísio's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oswaldo Dionísio got free with Wellington Barbosa in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wellington Barbosa came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Afyon İdman Yurdu's Kamer Uram. But to his dismay, Kamer Uram quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. 85 minutes in the game, Oswaldo Dionísio dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Oswaldo Dionísio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wellington Barbosa having to make a save. In the 91stth minute of the game Oswaldo Dionísio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vasco FC's Wellington Barbosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wellington Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Fatih Yalım, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Oswaldo Dionísio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wellington Barbosa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Vasco FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Afyon İdman Yurdu were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
